Cora Theriot

Cora Mae Theriot January 5, 1926 December 28, 2010 Cora Mae Theriot a native of Morgan City and a resident of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center. Cora loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved her little faithful companion, Shadow, her dog. Cora is survived by her daughter, Betty Provost and her husband, Vernon Eschete of Gibson; her son, Willis J. Theriot and his wife, Sherald of Jeanerette; five grandchildren: Angela Pitre, Joseph Provost, Stacy Pellerin, Christy Barrilleaux and Willis Theriot II; eight great grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren. Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur James Theriot; her parents, Willis and Hattie Gray and one grandson, David James Provost. A time of remembrance will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, December 31, 2010 starting at 8:30am until 10:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
