Deloria S. Frickey September 7, 1931 December 31, 2010 Deloria S. Frickey, “The Cat Lady of Bayou Vista”, a native of Kaplan and a resident of Bayou Vista passed away at her residence on Friday, December 31, 2010. The family request since Deloria has passed that everyone please do the responsible thing. Deloria is survived by her husband, Edgar E. Frickey of Bayou Vista; her two daughters: Paulette Frickey Tranchant of Luling and her husband, Royce and Tanya Frickey of Bayou Vista; one son, David Frickey of Bayou Vista and three grandchildren: Darby Frickey Jr., Elizabeth and Christopher Tranchant. Deloria was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Theriot and one son, Darby Frickey Sr. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
