Barbara Martha Autin January 21, 1937 January 16, 2011 Barbara Martha Autin, a native of Terrebonne and a resident of Amelia passed away at her residence surround by her loving family. Barbara was a faithful member of Pharr Chapel First United Methodist Church of Morgan City for many years. Barbara was also a grandmother to many other children who came in and out of her life. Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wilton J. Autin Sr. of Amelia; two sons: Benny Autin of Broussard and Wilton J. Autin Jr. and his wife, Gerry of Amelia; one daughter, Lela McMichael and her husband, Terry of Sulphur; nine grandchildren: Benjy and Bruce Autin, Sabrina Voisin, Kendra Foret, George Boutwell, Amy Hampton, Renee, Daze and T.J. McMichael; 14 great grandchildren: Caleb, Micela, Baliegh, Ashley, Harley, Madison, Faith, Bryce, George, Cierra, Mariah, R.J., Kallie and Erich; four Godchildren: Shane, Bobby Jo, Jobe and Truc Dao; five sisters: Loretta Tabor, Lona Pennison, Lucy Tabor, Geneva Ohmer and Helen Faye Benoit; two brothers; Cleveland Ohmer and Huey Ohmer Sr. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Helen May Ohmer; one son, Philip Autin and one brother, Joseph Solar. Visitation will be on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 6pm until 10pm and resuming on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 9am until 10am. The service will begin at 10am at the funeral home with Rev. Lamar Oliver presiding. Barbara will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Amelia, LA.
