Angeline Michel Guidry December 20, 1924 February 24, 2011 Angeline Michel Guidry a life long resident of Morgan City passed away on February 24, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Angeline enjoyed visiting and hosting card parties with her friends and spending as much time with her children and grandchildren. Angeline is survived by her two sons: Lawrence Guidry and his wife, Mary of Berwick and Joe Guidry and his wife, Cathy of Morgan City; two daughters: Ellen Kay Guidry Bourgeois and her husband, Christopher of Stephensville and Jane Guidry Coleman and her husband, Eddie of Brookhaven, Miss.; nine grandchildren: Ellen B. Young, Scott Bourgeois, Joshua Guidry, Jonette Guidry, Angie Lins, Nickolas Coleman, Kimberly Slobogan, Taylor Coleman and Stephanie Guidry Stanley; eight great grandchildren: Kayleigh Young, Matthew Young, Keegan Lange, Madden Coleman, Carter Coleman, Marianna Lins, Stella Lins and Mia Slobogan; two sisters: Rita M. Bonner and Sister Joyce Michel and a very special sister-n-law, Edna Michel along with a host of nieces and nephews. Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Matilda Michel Sr., husband, Edward P. Guidry, one grandson, Chase Coleman, five brothers: Lawrence Jr., Hilton, Floyd, Maurice and Daniel Michel and one sister, Theresa M. Canty. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church starting at 9am until 11:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:30am. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
