Gertrude Packer

Gertrude Packer, 80, native of Krotz Springs, and a resident of Patterson passed away on February 17, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Gertrude is survived by two sons, Joseph Packer, and his wife Linda, of Bayou Vista, William "Billy" Burgess of Berwick, one daughter, Terri Burgess, of Patterson. She is also survived by one sister, Sandra Smith of Bush, LA, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers, two sisters, three great-grandchildren. A private family service was held at Twin City Funeral Home.
