Johnny Lombas

Mack John "Johnny" Lombas, Jr., a native of Morgan City and resident of Patterson, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. He was born August 25, 1946 in Morgan City, the son of Mack John Lombas, Sr. and Eula Johnson Lombas. Johnny enjoyed visiting with his friends and family and also enjoyed being in the outdoors doing yard work. He was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and also an avid lover and listener of blues music. Johnny is survived by his wife, Janis Lombas, of Patterson; four children, Crystal Lombas, of Bayou Vista, LA, Rechelle Baker, of Houston, TX, Mack John Lomas III, of Bayou Vista, Megan Lombas, of Patterson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Betti Herbert, of St. Louis, MO, Sandra Bergeron, of Berwick; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and also on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday March 21, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Head officiating. Johnny will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
