Patricia “Pat” Boudreaux Adams, a life long resident of Morgan City, went home to be with Jesus on April 6, 2011 at her residence.
Pat was a devout Roman Catholic, watcher of EWTN and an original member of Holy Cross Catholic Parish. She was also a member of the Come Lord Jesus group and even worked at the church as a money counter.
She is known for her love of reading, family travel and having a big open heart for everyone.
Pat is survived by her three sons: Louis J. “Bill” Adams Jr. and his wife, Margi of Vernal, Utah; Michael J. “Slick” Adams of Morgan City and Christopher J. Adams and his wife, Deb of DeBeque, Colorado; four daughters: Mary A. Anderson and her husband, Judd of New Iberia, Suzanne A. Boudreaux and her husband, Ricky of Morgan City, Teresa A. Rappmundt and her husband, Paul of Morgan City and Patricia A. Fryou and her husband, Lennis of Morgan City; one brother, Jerry P. Boudreaux and his wife, Joan of Gulfport, Mississippi; one sister, Diane B. Sewart and her husband, Wayne of Morgan City; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. “Billy” Adams Sr. and her parents, Loulie and Lelia Boudreaux.
Visitation will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 8:30am until 11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00am. Pat will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Paula Arceneaux, Dr. Hector Ruiz and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful love and support that was provided. Also the family request in lieu of flowers to make donations to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
