James Brady Walsh October 4, 1951 April 27, 2011 James Brady Walsh a native of Yankton, South Dakota and a resident of Broussard passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Broussard. James enjoyed his time with his sons and especially with his grandsons. James was a hard worker and made sure he passed that quality to his sons, John and Jason. James will be truly missed by all who knew him. James is survived by his two sons: John Walsh and Jason Blanchard of Morgan City; two grandsons: Isaiah and Maddox Walsh of Morgan City and their mother, Marci Walsh of Broussard; one brother, John E. Walsh Jr. of Rock Island, Illinois; one sister: Suzanne M. Walsh of Walcott, Iowa; three nieces: Lisa Carl of Denver, Katy Lievens and Jennifer Lievens of Davenport, Iowa; three nephews: Mike Walsh of Bettendorf, Iowa, Tim and Matt Lievens of Davenport, Iowa; three cousins: Bill Hofer, Paul Hofer and Susie Kronenberg all of Memphis, Tenn. James was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Eunice Walsh Sr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May1, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm and a Rosary will be prayed at 7pm the visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 from 8am until 9:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass.
