Ethel Benita Roy February 13, 1937 May 13, 2011 Ethel Benita Roy a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Terrebonne General Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Ethel is survived by her six children: Virgil and his wife, Helen Picou Pilgrim of Conway, Ark., Anita Pilgrim Diedrich of Bayou L’ourse, Calvin and his wife, Liz Lejeune Pilrgrim of Bayou L’ourse, Linda and her husband, Niki Bradley of Orange Beach, Alabama, Lisa and her husband, Matt Mayon of Morgan City and Earline Roy of Berwick; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with 11 brothers and sisters. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be held at New Life Tabernacle on Sunday beginning at 5pm until…., and resuming on Monday at the church starting at 8am until 10am. A Service of Christian Burial will begin at 10am and she will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
