Lawrence Joseph "Cop-Cop" Rebardi

Lawrence Joseph “Cop-Cop” Rebardi, Sr., 66, a native of Berwick, and a resident of Ricohoc, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his home. Lawrence was born July 16, 1944 in Berwick the son of Louis Domnick and Winnie Bell Amanda Lombas Rebardi. On May 30, 1975 he married Dorothy (Maiden Name) and she survives. He enjoyed gardening, shrimping and being in the boat on the water. He was one who loved to spend time with his family. He was also one to always act tough but was really soft hearted. He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Dorothy Rebardi, of Ricohoc; six children, Lawrence Rebardi, Jr., and wife Gretta, of Berwick, Jason Rebardi, of Berwick, Sonya Rebardi, of Morgan City, Jacob Rebardi, of Berwick, Jade Rebardi, of Ricohoc, Joshuya Rebardi, of Bayou L’Ourse. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-granchildren, three brothers, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jody Rebardi; and three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Lawrence will be laid to rest in Berwick Cemetery.
