Myrtle Boudreaux, 93, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away June 23, 2007 at Teche Regional Medical Center. She was born to Wickliff and Lydia Nini on November 30, 1913 in St. Mary Parish.
She is survived by her daughter Rae Honderich and her husband, Joe of AR; her two sons, Gardie Boudreaux and his wife, Mary Ella of Bayou Vista, and Danny Boudreaux of Bayou Vista; her two sisters, Mabel Gilmore and her husband, Sebbie of Bourg, and Annabelle Angeron of Morgan City.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Patty Honderich of AR., Lynette Boudreaux of Patterson, Britt Boudreaux of Baton Rouge and Lynn Moore of AR; and by her five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Riley Boudreaux and her parents, Wickliff Nini and Lydia Guidry Nini, and by her three brothers, Homer, Tilton, and Hansel Nini.
A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Sunday June 24, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Visitation will resume Monday June 25, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Twin City Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Greene officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum.
