Doris Rulf

Doris Rulf, 78, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Doris is the daughter of the late George and Edna Stansbury Bigler. Doris was an easy going Lady, she enjoyed spending time at the camp with her family having crawfish and crab boils. She also loved to cook rice and gravy, Doris was easy to talk too and enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. Doris was a member of the ST. Mary AARP and Pharr Chapel Methodist Church. Doris is survived by her husband of 54 wonderful years, Elwood Rulf of Morgan City, three daughters; Patricia R Aucion and her husband Jimmy of Berwick, Cheryl Rulf Landry of Morgan City, Terry Rulf of Morgan City, one Brother, John R. Bigler and his wife Adrienne of Morgan City, one Sister, Georgie Ann Bigler of Morgan City, three Grandchildren; Tiffany Aucion Coleman, Chad Michael Landry and his wife Michele, Kalyn Michelle Landry, two Great-grandchildren; Addie Grace Coleman and Bradley Michael Landry. Doris was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lodrigue, her parents, George and Edna Bigler and her first husband Michell Lodrigue. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 11am until 9pm, resuming Friday, June 28, 2007 from 9am until 2pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at Pharr Chapel Methodist Church at 2:30pm will Rev. Lamar Oliver officiating. Doris will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
