Carroll Joseph Michel

Carroll Michel Sr, 67, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Donner, passed away, Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Carroll proudly served his country in the United States Army. Carroll was a master carpet and tile installer who did things his way. Carroll was the son of the late Percy and Hilda Solar Michel. Carroll is survived by his son; Carroll J. Michel Jr. and his wife Debra of Bayou Vista, two Daughters; Sheila Aucoin and her husband Mike of Ricohoc, Karen Verett and her husband Robert of Morgan City, four Brothers; David Michel and his wife Carolyn of Miss., Jessie Michel and his wife Barbara of Texas, Clarence Michel and his wife Daisy of New Orleans, Benny Michel and his wife Hilda of Bayou L’Ourse, two Sisters; Katherine Boudoin and her husband Frank of Thibodaux, Rena Windhorst and her husband Rorary of New Orleans. Six grandchildren; Alicia Morris, Ashley Michel, Carroll Michel III, Tiffany Aucoin, Courtney Michel, Kaleb Verett and his former wife Mary Belle Mayon. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jane Hernadez. The East St. Mary Veteran’s Funeral Squad will conduct graveside services, Monday, July 2, 2007 at 11am in the Morgan City Cemetery.
