Eula Mae Aucoin

Eula M. Giroir Aucoin May 19, 1933 December 10, 2011 Eula M. Giroir Aucoin a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center. Eula loved spending time quilting, sewing and raising birds. Eula is survived by her seven children: Eula Aucoin of Morgan City, Clement Michael Aucoin of Patterson, Barbara Ann Sons of Houma, Katherine Ann Acosta of Stephensville, Twila Joy Davis of Florida, JoLane Marie Diaz of Alabama and Christine Denise Blanco of Patterson; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, William Giroir of Oakdale, LA; one sister: Doris "Totsie" Harrington of Patterson along with her best friend, Ruth Landry and numerous nieces and nephews. Eula was preceded in death by her parents, Jean J. Ulysess and Marie Cora Giroir; her husband, Clement "Boogie" Joseph Aucoin; one daughter: Debra Ann Perera; two grandchildren: Jason Sons and James Joseph Henry and one great grandchild: Paden John Clements. Visitation will begin on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7pm that evening. The visitation will resume on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the funeral home at 8am until 10:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eula will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass.
