Linwood Mayon

Linwood Adam Mayon January 12, 1938 January 11, 2012 Linwood Adam Mayon, 73, a native of Charenton and a resident of Amelia passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Linwood is survived by his wife, Katie Mayon of Amelia; two sons: Adam Mayon and wife, Melissa of Pierre Part and Richard Mayon of Patterson; one granddaughter, Katie Mayon of Pierre Part; one stepson, Clance Lloyd and wife, Lisa of Bayou Vista; one stepdaughter, Leann Lloyd of Morgan City; four step grandchildren: Patricia Lloyd, Alexis Arnold, Victoria Arnold and Nicholas Lloyd; one brother, Edward Mayon of Morgan City; one sister, Mary Blanco and husband, Earl of Morgan City along with numerous nieces and nephews. Linwood was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 beginning at 9am until 12pm with a Service of Christian Burial starting at 12pm and Linwood will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
