Mable Giroir Hebert, 80, a resident of Morgan City passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Morgan City Healthcare.
Mable was born on May 25, 1931 in Morgan City the daughter of Eddie and Eline Comeaux Giroir.
Mable was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Yvonne LeBlanc and husband Herbert, of Morgan City, and Gale Percle, of Morgan City; five grandchildren, Lisa Goulas and husband Scott, Kevin LeBlanc and wife Jenifer, Christie Mayon and husband Bryan, Kimberly Arceneaux and husband Brandon, Priscilla Percle; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey, Cailey, Ashley Goulas, Beau LeBlanc, Dylan, Cayla, Allie Mayon, Mary Grace Arceneaux. Mable is also survived by one sister, Anna Belle Fontenot and husband Carol; one brother, Gilbert Giroir; brother-n-law, Ivan Hebert and wife Carrie; sister-in-law, Audrey Hebert; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie Giroir and Eline Comeaux Giroir; husband, Uric Hebert; son-in-law, Earl Percle, Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on January 30, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Tuesday at Holy Cross. Mable will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin LeBlanc, Scott Goulas, Bryan Mayon, Brandon Arceneaux, Dylan Mayon, Carol Fontenot, Donald Hebert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert LeBlanc and Ivan Hebert.
