Adam James Horton, 25, born August 5, 1982 in Houma passed away September 3, 2007. He was a resident of Bayou Vista. He was the son of Clark J. Horton and the late Deborah Boyne.
He is survived by his father, Clark J. Horton of Morgan City, his grandmother, Edna Toups and his grandparents, Betty and Wilson Horton.
Friends that were close as a family to Adam include, Angela Hebert whom he considered a mother figure, Shane Anthony Orgeron Sr. whom he considered a brother, Lacy Orgeron and Traci Fitch whom he considered sisters that he never had. He was also a proud uncle of Ethan and Melissa Orgeron. Sadly to say he left behind his godchild that was newly born, Shane Anthony Orgeron Jr. whom he was very proud of.
He is also survived by his cousins; Jennifer, Jimmy, Lana, Allie and her husband, Joel and their child, Annalisi, Alesha, Yvette and her husband, Bryon and their children; Bubba, Nya and Reese.
His passions were his family and friends. He enjoyed poetry, bingo, feeding horses, spending time eating out with his friends and making new ones.
He was a member of Remote Controlled Airplane Club, he enjoyed flying the model planes that he built. He was interested in Math and in computers, he also loved to joke a lot.
Adam loved his job, he was a proud employee of Vinson Security Guards.
A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed tonight at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Services will be conducted tonight at the funeral home at 9:00 p.m.
