Thomas “Tommy” Robicheaux, 59, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 at his residence. Tommy was the son of the Ralph and Thelma Simoneaux Robicheaux. Tommy was a member of Gator Golf, FAME and was a master craftsman who could build anything. Tommy enjoyed music(Swamp pop) and dancing, but most of all was his love for Golf. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Tommy was a Catholic by faith and he attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Wanda Giroir Robicheaux of Morgan City, three daughters; Nikki Boudreaux and her husband Chris of Stephensville, Kelly Tyner of Morgan City, Tabatha Boudreaux of New Iberia, his mother, Thelma Robicheaux of Morgan City. Tommy was also survived by seven grandchildren; Emily Boudreaux, Alex Boudreaux, Chasity Viator, Skylar Viator, Morgan Holloway, Madison Tyner and Colin Tyner, his mother-in-law, Bessie Giroir of Pierre Part.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Robicheaux, grandparents, Bertha Deslatte Robicheaux and Emile Robicheaux, Lorenza Percle Simoneaux and Joseph Simoneaux, his father-in-law, Herbert Giroir.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tuesday, September 11, 2007 commencing at 11am with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Tommy will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
