Kathryn Logan, 80, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007. Kathryn was a member of the AARP; she loved her family and friends and was very generous. Kathryn had a great smile and sense of humor; she was always the life of the party. Kathryn enjoyed traveling and meeting people, she just enjoyed life.
Kathryn is survived by her nephew, Ray Joseph Templet of Morgan City, nine nieces; Mary “Cathy” Jett of Abbeville, Brenda Boswell of Berwick, Dolores Henry of Gray, Belinda McNeely of Baton Rouge, Suzanna Boutte of Lafayette, Connie Thomas of Lafayette, Carolyn McAvoy of Brockton, Mass., Linda Kiernan of Brockton, Mass. and Kathy Higgonbotham of Brockton, Mass.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sr. and Marion Gibney Logan,one brother, Harold W. Logan Jr., Evelyn Randall, Lila Governale, Mary Governale, Madeleine Templet and a special friend, Ray Graham.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10am until 1:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2pm with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Kathryn will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
