Grace Tudury

Grace Landry Tudury, 77, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Patteron, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Grace was the daughter of the late Numa and Elvina Lee Landry. Grace gave a lifetime of service as a nurse and caregiver, working for Dr. “Mickey” Tate, Dr. William Barletta, The Franklin Foundation and Teche Regional (Lakewood) Medical Center. Grace was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Grace is survived by her husband, Theodore “Coach” Tudury Jr. of Morgan City, one son, Scott A. Tudury of Berwick, two daughters; Mary Beth Driskell and her husband Charlie of Morgan City, Penny C. Naquin and her husband Robert of Thibodaux, one brother, Clarence Landry and his wife Dorothy of Sulpher, three sisters; Agnes Rodrigue and her husband Leopold of Thibodaux, Beryl Gaudet and her husband Garrett “Sunny” of Morgan City, Sherry Bauooin and her husband Robert of Erath, six grandchildren; Bethany Reeves Oliver, Virginia “Ginger” Reeves Jones, Joshua Driskell, Megan Driskell Evans, Jamie E. Naquin, Emily Tudury and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Naquin and McKenzie Jones. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Ella May, Ara Mae Hughes, Beverly Schexnyder, two brothers; Herbert “Buck” Landry and Hubert Landry. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 13, 2007 from 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home. The visitation will resume at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Friday, September 14, 2007 from 8am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10am with Father Danny Poche officiating.
