Aldon Joseph Daigle, 84, a Native of Bell River and a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at his place of residence.
Aldon enjoyed his retirement, spending it with his family after more than 30 years of service to McDermott. Aldon was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gros Daigle of Morgan City; four daughters: Nell Dore of M.C., Melissa Trahan and husband, David of Abbeyville, Clyteal Hatch of Berwick, Camille Withall and husband, Myers of Houston; two Sons: Noah Bergeron of M.C., Nelson Turner and wife, Missy of Centerviller; one brother, Bobby Daigle of M.C.; 13 grandchildren: Leo Dore, Aldon Barrilleaux, Toye Miller, Lewis Bergeron, Austin Bergeron, Hope Bergeron, Kasey Heber, Heather Hebert, Codi Hebert, Cayde Hatch, Holland Hatch, Ariel Blanco and Emily Blanco. As well as, six Great Grandchildren and Two Great- Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Herbert and Mable Daigle; one daughter, Gail Barrilleaux; his first wife, Vida Myers Daigle; a grandchild, Emily Dore; two brothers, Philo Daigle, and Shelby Daigle; One sister, Enez Rhodes; and a Son-in-Law Alton Dore.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the funeral home from 8:00 am till 10:00 am, with the service beginning at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum after the services.
