William Erwin “Bill” Brown Jr., born January 22, 1944 a native of Morgan City and resident of Garden City, passed away October 3, 2007 at The Heart Hospital in Lafayette.
He was a much loved son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was very proud to be in The United States Marine Corps.
Bill is survived by his three brothers; Thomas Rivet Jr. and his wife Barbara of Bayou Vista, Doug Brown and his wife Carol of Lafayette, Jim Brown and his wife Destiny of Bossier City, his four sisters; Mary Smith of Berwick, B.J. Massey and her husband George Massey of Lafayette, Bobbye Lyn Bordelon and her husband Don of Loreauville, Debbie Prisock andher husband Rick of St. Eustatius.
Survivors also include 9 nieces and 6 nephews 2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Brown Sr., and Jeanne Gonzales Brown, a nephew Scott Bordelon, and a great nephew Thomas Rivet IV and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be sadly missed by family, friends, former co-workers and his golf buddies.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Glider at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services with full Military Honors will be conducted be the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad.
He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
