Lenora Duay

Lenora Duay 82, born July 6, 1925 in Berwick, passed away October 3, 2007 at Teche Regional Medical Center. She loved to play music on her guitar. She loved to take pictures and was always with her camera. She loved her family very much. She is survived by her husband George Duay Jr., for 61 years son Dale Duay and his wife Natalie of Bayou Vista, her daughter Wanda Carpenter and her husband Sam of Lake Charles, her 13 grandchildren; Dayna Dugas, Lisa Roder, Dana Duay Jr., Chrisa LeBlanc, Shanna Duay, Shawnee Gerrets Gwen Brown, Ashlin Buford, Leigha Duay, Skyla Laverne, Diane Barr, Hope Miller, and Trent Carpenter, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oney Thompson and Nolie Pennison Thompson, 2 sisters, and one son. Graveside services will be Sunday October 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Morgan City cemetery.
