James Rink

James Alcide Rink October 28, 1932 June 24, 2012 James Alcide Rink, 79, better known as "Jimmy" passed away at Terrebonne General on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Jimmy was a native of Bayou Shaffer and a resident of Morgan City with his mother, Mary Rink, until her death in 2010. After her death he lived with his brother, Warren and his wife, Kaye of Houma until his passing. Jimmy is survived by his two brothers: Warren Rink and his wife, Kaye of Houma and Wayne Rink and wife, Ellen of Stephensville; two sisters: Helen Toups of Stephensville and Betty Romaire and husband, Don of Baton Rouge along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide and Mary Rink; brother-in-law, Louis Toups and great niece, Ali Rose Aucoin. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9am until 11am. Services will begin 11am at the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Dan Murphy. Jimmy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
