Edith Boudreaux, 61, a resident of Patterson and a native of Morgan City, passed away at Lafayette General Hospital, Saturday, October 13, 2007. Edith was a former schoolteacher and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Edith enjoyed baking, music (especially the oldies) she was a jokester and loved family gatherings. Edith loved to spoil her great-nieces and nephews.
Edith is survived by three brothers; Grachel Boudreaux of Shreveport, Homer Boudreaux Jr.and his wife Debra of Bayou Vista, Carl Boudreaux and his wife Melinda of Morgan City; three sisters, Marlene Sargee and her husband Gary of Patterson, Terri Boudreaux of Abbeville, Tammy Rodrigues and her husband Chris of Berwick and a special friend, Anthony Blanco of Patterson.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Boudreaux Sr. and Alma Bertrand Boudreaux.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8:30am until 2:00pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home at 2pm. Edith will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
