Malcolm "Danny" Daniel Gaudet

Malcolm Daniel "Danny" Gaudet, 65, a native and resident of Morgan City passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his resident. Danny was born January 1, 1947 in Morgan City the son of Norman Gaudet and Shirley Lamury Gaudet. Danny loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and being with his family and friends. He was always there to help anyone in need and was the first to lend a hand. He had fond memories of his childhood friends and loved spending time with his father on the beloved shrimp boat the Bon Jour. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Wilma Lapeyrouse Gaudet of Morgan City; two daughters, April Gaudet Persilver and husband Gene of Panama City Beach, Florida, Tammy Gaudet Sons and husband Darryl of Carencro; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Dawn Gaudet Davis of Dallas, Texas and Anne Gaudet Cefalu of Morgan City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Gaudet and Shirley Lamury Gaudet; one brother Richard Llewellyn Gaudet and one infant brother. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Danny will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 415 Union St. Morgan City, LA 70380.
