Albert Mayer

Albert Mayer, 34, born April 30, 1974 son of Raquel and Donald Buras and the late Thurlow F. Mayer Sr., passed away October 16, 2007. Albert was a former resident of Venice, La., for 31 years and a resident of Berwick for two years. Albert is survived by his Mother and Step-father, Raquel and Donald Buras of Berwick, his three brothers; Flander Mayer Jr. of Berwick, Michael Mayer of Berwick, Mark Mayer of Dallas, Tx., his six sisters; Cecilia Schmidt and her husband John of New Mexico, Grace Mayer of Berwick, Evelyn Boudreaux and her husband Matt of Kenner, Rhonda Venable and her husband E.J. Jr. of Berwick, Maggie Evans and her husband J.J. of Venice, La., and Amelia Mayer and her fiance Mike Despaux of Berwick, his two uncles; Harold Mayer and his wife Sandy of Kenner, and Allen Mayer and his wife Joanie of Napoleonville and his aunt Evelyn Scarabin and her husband Herbert Sr. of Venice, La. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Jacklyn Mayer, Thurlow Mayer III, Paul Mayer, Dylan Kent, Reanna Benoit, Derrick Evans, Rebecca Rae Evans, Brent Venable, Madison Despaux, Sophie Boudreaux, Alex Boudreaux, Jennifer Boudreaux, Marcus Boudreaux, Ian Grant and Brandi Grant and by many friends and family from down home. He was preceded in death by his father Thurlow Flander Mayer Sr., his two brothers; Matthew and Jerry Mayer. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery. The Boothville-Venice Volunteer Fire Department will be pallbearers.
