Mazie Marie Thompson June 19, 1953 July 27, 2012 Mazie Marie Thompson, 59, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Berwick passed away on Monday, July 27, 2012 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Mazie is survived by her daughter, Mary Jones and husband Steve of Morgan City; two sons: Henry Hebert Jr. of Bayou Vista and Daniel Hebert and wife, Robin of Montz, LA; nine grandchildren: Jessica, Allison, Antonio, Kobe, Devin, Kasidy, Tre', Layna and Olivia; three great grandchildren: Ja'layna, Ma'leiyah, Camille; seven sisters: Evelyn Ribardi, Edna Ribardi, Barbara Brown and husband, Bruce, Susie Stratton and husband "Bee Bee", Rhonda Writz and husband, Gregg, Gloria Ribardi and Linda Dehart and husband, Freeman; two brothers: Eddie Ribardi and John Ribardi and wife, Bonnie; one sister-in-law, Irene Ribardi and a host of nieces and nephews. Mazie was preceded in death by her parents, David and Agnes Ribardi; her husband, Henry Hebert Sr.; one brother, David Ribardi Jr., one grandson, Stedarrio "Mario" Jones and her companion, Benjamin Griffin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 10am until 1:30pm with a service beginning at 1:30pm. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
