Timothy Rodgers

Timothy Dale Rodgers November 26, 1960 July 31, 2012 Timothy Dale Rodgers, 51, a native of San Bernardino, California and a resident of Patterson passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his residence. Tim was a devout Christian who loved his Lord and Savior and a devoted member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church. He was also a very loving and caring husband and father who served his country in the U.S. Navy for six years. He had a wonderful sense of humor that many loved. He enjoyed anything to do with the water from boating, fishing, swimming or just sitting on the beach. Being from California, Tim was a die-hard San Diego Chargers fan. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Karen Rodgers of Patterson; one daughter, Lyndsey Rodgers Duncan and her husband, Michael of Arizona; his mother, Marie Frances Rodgers; one sister, Joy Rodgers McKinely and Sandy of CA; one godson, Kade Linn of New Iberia; "another special daughter", Halie Allemond Toups and her husband, Quinn "Frank" and Isabella of Patterson; "two special four legged" girls: Cali and Cloe along with family and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Dale Rodgers. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Bayou Vista Baptist Church beginning at 9am until 11am with a service at 11am following the visitation. Officiating the service will be Pastor Steve Kelly and Bro. Charles Gilder.
