Vina Mary Comeaux

Vina Mary Comeaux, 94 a Native or Morgan City passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Teche Regional Hospital. Vina was born February 3, 1918 in Morgan City the daughter of Clopha Solar and Elise Morgan Solar. Vina enjoyed cooking meals for her family; She Loved to fish and be outdoors. She also enjoyed Bingo and crocheting. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Carol C. Young ; one son, Perry Comeaux Sr. and wife Rhonda, Daughter-in-Law Velma Dale Comeaux; six grandchildren, John Young and companion Linda, Debra Pillaro and husband Jake, Mark Young and wife Ellen, Charles "Chuck" Comeaux and wife Chantel, Perry "P.J." Comeaux Jr. and companion Jessica, Charles Wayne Comeaux and wife Mandi; 12 great grandchildren, Jake "J.J." Pillaro IV, Paige Comeaux, Colden Comeaux, Kayleigh Young,, Hailey Comeaux, Meah Vining, Mathew Young, Cameron Comeaux, Stella Comeaux , Mason Comeaux, Laiten Bertrand, Gavin Orgeron; seven step -grandchildren, Derek Orgeron, Jon Ard, Julie Ard, Jane Gobert, Jody Ard, Gage Topham, Noelle Topham; one great-great grandchild, Emily Pillaro. Vina was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Comeaux Sr.; parents, Clopha Solar and Elise Morgan Solar; one son, Charles Comeaux Jr.; one grandson, Anthony Pillaro; one son-in-law, Aswell Young; two sisters, Irma Galey and Mildred Theriot; one brother, Raymond Solar. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Twin City. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2012 and resuming Monday, September 17, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. Mrs. Vina will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
