Robert Thomas Hughes II

Robbie” Hughes II, 21, a resident of Lafayette and a native of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007. Robbie is the son of Robert Thomas Hughes Sr. and Regina Holland Leach. We’ve lost someone filled with love and laughter, but now life turns another chapter life will go on and the sun will shine as we ponder over the wonderful memories he left behind. Robbie was a loving person so fun and sweet. He will be remembered each time we hear a beat from songs he loved even as a child. We know we will be with you in time, you were a son, a brother and best friend. We’d be there for each other even if there were rules to bend. We say goodbye for now and lay you down to rest, your pain has been lifted off your chest. Just know that everyone loved you. Robbie was a wonderful friend, grandchild, uncle, nephew, brother, father and son. Robbie is survived by is son, Dillan Diego Freeman of Lafayette, his father, Robert T. Hughes of Lafayette, his mother and step father, Regina Holland Leach and Gregory of Converse, LA., two sisters, Robin Nicole Myers and her husband Artie of Bayou Vista, Tammy Como and her husband Enrico of Crowley, La., two brothers, Jariett Thomas Hughes and his wife Shannon of Lafayette, Jacob Robert Hughes and his wife Stephanie of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his grandparents, Elvin Holland and Jean Clark Hughes. Robbie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Florence Lavel Holland and his grandfather, Robert T Hughes. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 9am until 1pm at Twin City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm. Robbie will be laid to rest in Berwick Cemetery.
