Frances B Norman

Frances Norman, 83, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Glendwilde, La, passed away at her residence. Frances was a good & loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved to spoil her children and grandchildren. Frances liked spiritual music and was an excellent cook, when she did cook. Frances is survived by her husband of 67 years, Abel Joseph Norman Sr. of Morgan City, three sons; Abel Norman Jr. of Delhi, La, David Norman of Morgan City, Michael Norman and his wife Iva of Lithia Springs, Ga., two daughters; Mary N Marceaux and her husband Eugene of Morse, La., Martha N. Smilie and her husband Jimmy of Morgan City, two brothers, Gay Henry Besse of Morgan City, Alex Besse of Cherryhill NJ. three sisters; Mable Lester of Morgan City, Eulamae Gast of Morgan City, Marie Besse of Anthens, La. Eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive her. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Besse and Annette Fryou Besse, two brothers and one sister, one grandson The family will receive friends Friday, December 7, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 10am. Funeral service, officiated by Brother Tommy Fromenthal will begin at 10am. Frances will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
