Gary Dean Grow
May 8, 1954 – September 29, 2012
Gary Dean Grow, 58, a native of Morgan City, Louisiana and a long-time resident of Bayou Vista, Louisiana, passed away on September 29, 2012 at his residence.
A loving dad, devoted son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, he loved
spending time with his family and enjoyed his favorite pastime, woodcarving.
“Grabo” always entertained the younger ones with his magic tricks, jokes,
and also his great sense of humor. He now has a “new” audience.
Two daughters survive him, Dr. Laura Grow of Vancouver BC, Canada;
Amanda Gober Verret & husband Caleb of Patterson, Louisiana;
his parents, Ira J. Grow, Sr. & Cecile Lombas of Morgan City, Louisiana;
his sister, Cheryl Grow Carpenter of New Orleans, Louisiana; two brothers, Ira J. Grow, Jr. of Morgan City, Louisiana; and Terry Grow & Theresa Jones of
Bayou Vista, Louisiana.
Gary has 2 grandchildren: Kai Dugas and Kaden Verret.
Many nieces and nephews also survive him.
A memorial visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, Louisiana, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prayer service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend or leave condolence messages for the family at www.twincityfh.com.
