Allen Paysinger

October 1, 1933 — December 14, 2007

A.C. Paysinger, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Crosbyton, TX, passed away Friday, December 14, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, after a short stay at Teche Regional Medical Center. A.C. was a wonderful father and grandfather, which liked to spoil his children and grandchildren. A.C. was a very caring and generous man who loved his family and friends. A.C. was a workaholic, he worked on the Alaskan Pipeline, he was a Mason 32 Degree and a Shriner for many years. A.C. loved golf, fishing at the camp and country western music. A.C. loved Louisiana, especially oysters and crawfish boils. A.C. is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Louise Hocke Paysinger of Morgan City, three daughters; Jeannie P. Bergeron and her husband Jared of Berwick, Judy P. Neal of Patterson, Jill P. Bross of Berwick, one brother, Melton Ray Paysinger of Odessa, TX, one sister, Roxanne Pollock of Hobbs, New Mexico. Nine grandchildren, Lewis Waller V, Jared Bergeron, Ryan Bergeron, Chance Stuchel, Gabriel Neal, Ashley Neal, Niki Neal, Kacey Bross and Alan Bross also survive A.C. A.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Eula Mae Castleman Paysinger, one brother, Richard Hext, one sister, Jesse Black, Mother-in-law, Antoinette Hocke, Son-in-laws, Allen Bross and Paul Neal. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, with a Masonic service at 6:30pm. The visitation will resume Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10am until 11am. Funeral services will begin al 11am Thursday at Twin City Funeral Home. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will conduct military graveside Honors. A.C. will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
