Lucille Crappell Dardar, 75, a resident of Patterson and a native of Morgan City, passed away, Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at her residence. Lucille was devoted to family, she loved to spoil her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucille even wrote a book on her family history. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing piano, cooking, sewing and crocheting. Lucille loved the simple things in life.
Lucille is survived by her two sons, Michael Dardar of Lafayette, David Dardar and his wife Rachel of Morgan City; one brother Bergen Crappell of Morgan City, four sisters, Eula Champagne of Tomball, TX., Louise Daigle and her husband Etienne of Morgan City, Shirley Scadlock of Morgan City, Stella Roe of Lake Jackson, TX. Three granchildren, Melanie Harding, Michael Dardar II, Stephan Dardar, three great-grandchildren, Kimberly Scott, Kenneth Scott Jr. and Abigail Harding also survive Lucille.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Dardar, her parents Alexander and Medora Lovell, four brothers, Wilbert, Wilton, Preston and William Crappell, one sister, Vivian Young.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
