Jason Paul Written, 38, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson, died January 2, 2008, in Terrebonne Parish, the result of an automobile accident. Jason loved to fish and he loved to cook, as this was his chosen profession as he aspired to chef status. He also loved music of all kinds and enjoyed playing any type of keyboard, which he did very well without having taken any lessons. Playing by ear was one of Jason’s God given talents. Jason loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews and his grandmother Ruby. His friends and family always came first. Jason also traveled extensively for Freedom Ministries as he had found a great love for the Lord Jesus. Jason is survived by his father, Floyd N Written Sr. and his step mother Bessie, of Bayou L’Ourse, one sister, Mary Ann Written, and her friend, Jesus Ramirez, of Patterson; his grandmother, Ruby Mae Written; three aunts, Thed Pojar, Maxine Martinez and Lena St. Helton; two uncles, Woodrow Written and Clifford Pojar; four cousins, Joshua and Timmy Pojar, Sabrina Written and her husband Kevin Lord and Jennifer Solar Richard; two nephews, Shawn and Christopher Pollard; two nieces, Kayla and Tiffany Pollard. He is also surved by many great nieces and great nephews; Serenity, Lindsy, Blake, Brandon, Bryan, Brett, Bradley and Cameron. Jason was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Solar Written; his grandfathers, Joseph Walter Written and Eddie Solar; his grandmother, Jeannett Solar; his brother, Floyd N. Written Jr.; his four uncles, Ronnie Solar, Richard LeBlanc, Larwance Newago and Silvio Martinez; and his cousin, Julie Solar. Visitation was from 6pm to 9pm on Monday, January 7, 2008 and resumed from 10am to 2pm. Funeral services commenced at 2pm. All services were held at Twin City Funeral Home. Jason was laid to rest the Morgan City Cemetery. Rest in Peace we will always love and miss you.
