Darwin Orlin Donham Jr., 54, a resident of Baker, La. and a native of Morgan City, passed away, Friday, January 11, 2008 in Abbeville, La.
Darwin was an easy going and friendly man, he never met a stranger and always was willing to help people. “Monk” enjoyed fishing & hunting, music & dancing, he enjoyed using his hands in mechanical work. Darwin loved his family and especially the family parties like crab and crawfish boils.
Darwin is survived by one son, Rafflin Donham of Franklin, one daughter, Anna D. Campbell and her husband Christopher of Stephensville, one brother, Dan Philip Donham and his wife Dell of Thibodaux. Darwin is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tatum Campbell, Kyleigh Campbell, Shannon Donham, Morgan Donham, Helena Donham, Hannah Donham, Jenny Donham and one on the way.
Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin Sr. and Hilda Niobe Donham, one brother Donnin Donham.
There will be a Memorial held at the Days Inn in Morgan City, Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
