Randy Rivers

July 18, 1957 — January 13, 2008

Randy Rivers, 50, a native of Morgan City and resident of Pierre Part passed away January 13, 2008 in Promise Hospital of Ascension in Gonzales. Randy was a Master Carpenter and owned his own construction company. He is survived by his four sons; Nathan Glen Rivers and his wife Nina of Beaumont, TX, Christopher Aaron Rivers and his wife Aimee of Port Bolivar, TX, Randy Paden Rivers of Lake Charles, LA and Conner Rivers of Sour Lake, TX; his mother and step-father, Mitzi Cortez and Lee Gaudet of Belle River;his father, Elmer Rivers and his wife Barbara of Woodville, TX; his brother, Elmer Ray Rivers of TX, his step-brother, Robin Rivers of Lumberton, TX his three step-sisters; Rhonda Neann Rivers of Beaumont, TX, Amanda Rimeck and her husband Clint of Houston, TX, and Tiffany Rivers of Woodville, TX. He is also survived by his grand-daughter, Emilee Rivers, his nephews, Jared Rivers and David Rivers; his nieces, Sarah Tompkins and Rachel Rivers; and his great-neices, Alyssa Rivers, Joselyn Rivers and Melody Tompkins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Visitation will be observed Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Pallbearers to serve: Nathan Rivers, Chris Rivers, Paden Rivers, Conner Rivers, Robin Rivers, Lee Gaudet, Tony Garacci, Rivers Blanchard. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 am in Beaumont TX. At the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness at 2350 North Major Dr.
