Carolyn D. Daigle September 2, 1948 January 7, 2013 Carolyn D. Daigle, 64, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Carolyn was a seamstress by trade who always took care of her family. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren who were her world. Carolyn was known to many young people outside of her family as granny or nanny; she always provided a heart full of love for them all. She was also one who never met a stranger and enjoyed laughing. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Richard "Dickie" Daigle of Morgan City; two daughters: Charmaine Hebert Martinez and husband, Jessie of Stephensville and Stephanie Hebert Dupuy and husband, Troy of Berwick; two stepsons: Steve Daigle and wife, Roxanne of Thibodaux and Mark Daigle and wife, Kim of Georgia; three stepdaughters: Terry Long and husband, Keith of Thibodaux, Tracey Dowd and husband, John of Florida and Ellen Benoit and husband, Tim of Thibodaux; six grandchildren: Ethan, Brianna, Austin, Autumn, Zach and Ashton; 12 step grandchildren; two great step grandchildren; three brothers: Larry Daigle and wife, Pinky of Bayou Vista, Terry Daigle and wife, Sandy of Patterson and Ronnie Daigle and wife, Claudia of Texas; one sister, Joann Daigle of Bayou Vista along with numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Victor "Jake" and Vivian Daigle. A Memorial Visitation and Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 11am until 3pm.
