Elizabeth A Price, (B’Ann), 82, born February 28, 1925, a native and life long resident of Morgan City, LA, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, 9:38 pm, at Teche Regional Medical Center, Morgan City, LA. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband Allen A. Price, Jr., her father Guiseppe Russo, her mother Angela Orlando Russo, three brothers, Frank W. Russo, Sr., Joseph C. Russo, Sr., and Emanuel ‘Mac’ Russo and two sisters, Mary Russo Nastasi and Nancy C. Russo. She is survived by her children, Gregory A. Price and his wife Ginger of Morgan City; Mark A. Price, Sr. of Stephensville; Chris A. Price and his wife Cay of Morgan City; David J. Price and his wife Dawn of Berwick and Angela M. Price of Morgan City. Her grandchildren are Jason Price and Jeffrey Price of Morgan City, Jaclyn Price Landry of Baton Rouge, Rebecca Price and Jennifer Price of Lafayette, Mark A. Price, Jr. of Stephensville, Christopher Price of Berwick, Courtney Price, Tiffany Price and Danielle Price of Morgan City, Daniel ‘Drew’ Sheffield and Austin Price of Berwick. Great grandchildren are Olivia Price of Lafayette, Sara and Emily Price of Morgan City, Joseph Landry of Baton Rouge and Avery Price of Morgan City. Elizabeth’s surviving sister-in-laws include: Shirley Price Giroir and Margaret Husband Russo of Morgan City and Nancy Bergeron Russo of Lafayette. Mrs. Price also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she considered her family. Besides being a loving mother and wife, Elizabeth Price was a licensed beautician/ barber by trade and operated her own beauty salon for over forty years. She participated with her husband as one of the original founders of Allen’s TV Cable Service, Inc. which has served South Central Louisiana since 1959. Mrs. Price was a giving individual assisting the needy in the community and generously gave to many organizations. She was a devout supporter of all Catholic schools and churches in the area but took a special interest in Sacred Heart Catholic Church because her father had help build it. Mrs Price was honored in 2001 by being named to the Central Catholic High School Hall of Fame. She was a former member of the Lakewood Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Confraternity of Our Lady Star of the Sea and AARP. Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Russo Price will be Monday, February 11, 2008 with visitation at Twin City Funeral Home, 412 Fourth, Morgan City, LA from 6 to 9 pm with a rosary recital at 7 pm. Visitations will resume on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 8 to 9:30 am with a mass of Christian burial following at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 415 Union St. Morgan City, LA celebrated by the Reverand Michael Russo of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church of Lafayette, LA, her nephew’s son and co-celebrated by the Reverand Gregory Fratt of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Morgan City. Internment will follow at Morgan City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter Nastasi, III, Stephen Russo, James ‘Jimmy’ Russo, Peter Russo, Neal Loupe, Jason Price. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Nastasi, Jr., Frank W. Russo, Jr., Raymond ‘Mona’ Beadle, Sr. and George Beaugh, Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in the memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Russo Price or Mrs. Allen A. Price, Jr. to either Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Holy Cross Catholic Church, Morgan City, LA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Twin City Funeral Home, Morgan City, LA.
