Florence Leda Bergeron Vining Hebert, 74, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse and a native of Morgan City, was called home on February 18, 2008. Florence was the daughter of the late Janson and Evelyn Lovell Bergeron. Florence loved country music and she loved to dance. She enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time outdoors. She loved gardening and sharing everything she grew. She loved spending time with her grandkids and teaching them how to dance. Florence was a Christian by faith. Her strong belief in the Lord showed through her daily prayer for everyone that she loved.
Florence is survived by her son, Danny Vining and his wife Jennifer of Hope, Michigan, three daughters, Patricia Vining of Morgan City, Gloria Blanchard and her husband Eric Sr. of Branch, LA, Leda Lipari and her husband Ryan of Patterson, one brother, Joseph Bergeron of Erath, LA., two sisters, Joyce Cury of Patterson and Irene Guidry of Patterson, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Florence is also survived by her best friend of 13 years, Clifton Peltier of Bayou L’Ourse.
Florence was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 23 years, Manuel Paul Vining Sr., her 2nd husband of 14 years, Agna Joseph Hebert Sr., her parents, Janson and Evelyn Lovell Bergeron, her son, Manuel Vining, her daughter, Katherine Vining and four brothers.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm. Following the rosary there will be a eulogy read Uncle "Do". The visitation will resume, Friday, February 22, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8:30am until 10am. The funeral service will commence at 10am, with Father Toto officiating. Florence will be laid to rest next to her late husband Manuel Vining Sr. in Morgan City Cemetery.
