Rita Mae Richard March 5, 1939 February 17, 2013 Rita Mae Richard, 73, a native of Arnaudville and a resident of Morgan City passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Morgan City Health Care. Rita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family who loved her very much. She loved to have a good time and would tell jokes and have fun with her family and friends. Her favorite places to shop were Stage and Walmart. Rita is survived by her husband, Clarence Richard of Morgan City; two sons: Mark Richard and wife, Crystal of Bayou Vista and Dennis Richard and wife, Susan of Morgan City; three daughters: Elaine R. Landry and husband, Carl of Bayou Vista, Denise R. Lake and husband, Mike of Pierre Part and Bonnie R. Gremillion and husband, Gary of Bayou L'ourse; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers: Allen Quebedeaux and wife, Carolyn of Sunset and Thiel Quebedeaux and wife, Jessie Lee of New Iberia along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francois and Luce Kidder Quebedeaux; one son, Perry Richard; two sisters: Ann Veillon and Laura Mae Courville and one brother, Joel Quebedeaux. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 6pm until 9pm and resume on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Leonville at 9am until mass begins at 12pm. She will laid to rest in the mausoleum of St. Leo's Catholic Church Cemetery following the mass.
