Joseph F. Boudoin Sr.

Joseph F. Boudoin Sr., 73, a resident of Gibson, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Joseph was born on January 10, 1940 in Dulac the son of Alcide Boudoin and Marie Elise Liner. Joseph will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Catherine Boudoin of Gibson; five sons, Alcide Joseph Boudoin of Gibson, John Joseph Boudoin of Gibson, Joseph F. Boudoin, Jr. of Houma, Anthony Arthur Boudoin of Tennessee, James Patrick Boudoin of Houma; one daughter, Bridgette Boudoin of Morgan City; five step children, Shawn Priestley, Kaylynn Michel, Helana Darnielle, Angel Lane, Mary Kay Merrill; thirty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Octavia Marie Holloway of Patterson; one brother-in-law Gaston Gros; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Alcide Boudoin and Marie Elise Liner Boudoin; grandson, James Patrick Boudoin, Jr.; one sister, Justilia Gros; one brother, Ernest Boudoin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Joseph will be entombed in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
