Peggy Durden

Peggy Ann Durden, 67, a Native of Morgan City and a resident of Gibson passed away March 1, 2008 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Peggy was the daughter of the late Ruth Scadlock and Kaiser Daigle. She was born on August 31, 1940. Peggy was a member of AARP and she loved to play bingo. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Durden of Gibson and Jimmy Durden and his fiance Lisa of Gibson; her six brothers, Henry Daigle, Terry Daigle, Ronnie Daigle, David Daigle, Robert Daigle and LeRoy Daigle; and her three sisters, Ann Drothy, Cindy Gaudet and Charmane Latroiolais. She is also survived by her two special nieces, Toni Rock and Peggy Ballard; her great nieces and nephews, Casey Young, Veronica Rock, Jessica Rock and Bobby Jo Rock; and by her special friend, Dorothy Anthony. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Durden, her parents, and her adopted father Frank Young; one brother, Chris Daigle; and her two sisters, Patricia Daigle and Linda Daigle. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
