Rudolph Pickering

Rudolph “Rudy” Pickering, 75, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Mize, MS, passed away at his sons residence in Amite, LA Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Rudolph is the son of the late Sylvester and Cleora Sullivan Pickering. Rudolph is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Rebardi Pickering of Morgan City, three sons; Michael Pickering and his wife Paulette of Dickson, TN, Marvin Pickering and his wife Amy of Amite, LA, Billy Pickering of Thibodaux, LA, two daughters; Darlene Matney of Hartsville, TN, Patricia Pellerin of Lebanon, TN, three brother; Hershel Pickering of GA, Adrian Pickering of Bayou L’Ourse, Gerald Pickering of Missouri, one sister, Doris Williams of Texas. 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive Rudolph. Rudolph is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Cleora Sullivan Pickering, two brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends Friday, March 21, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Saturday March 22, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 11am. The funeral service will commence at 11am with the Rev John Smilie officiating. Rudolph will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
