Vincent Cain Guarisco Jr.

Vincent “V.C.” Cain Guarisco Jr., 71, a resident of Morgan City and a native of New Orleans, passed away at Teche Regional Medical Center on Thursday, March 20, 2008. “V.C.” loved his family and friends, he especially loved to spoil his grandchildren. “V.C.” enjoyed family gatherings, travel, cruises with his family, shooting at the target range, fishing on occasions and the casino. Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janet Saucier Guarisco of Morgan City, one son Vincent Guarisco III and his wife Shannon of Patterson, two daughters, Susan Guarsico of Bayou Vista, Donna Guarisco of Morgan City, one brother, Gerald Guarisco and his wife Jocelyn of Metairie. Vincent is also survived by four loving grandchildren; Kimberly Guarisco, Matthew Guarisco, Katie Guarisco and Rachel Rogers. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent C. and Louise Dares Guarisco and a granddaughter Catherine Guarisco The family will receive friends Monday, March 24, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will continue at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 8am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10am with Father Danny Poche officiating. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will conduct graveside honors. Vincent will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
