Wayne B. Sizemore

Wayne B. Sizemore, 73, a resident of Patterson passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born on June 10, 1939 in Pineville, La. the son of William Burris Sizemore and Edith Devore Sizemore. Wayne enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether he was fishing, sitting on the back porch drinking beer, or washing his truck he loved so much. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, reading old western books, and listening to gospel music. He loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter Madison Grace. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Trudy Sizemore of Patterson; two daughters, Donna Bergeron and husband Wesley of Vidor, Tex., Renea Sizemore of Alexandria; one step-daughter, Deborah Lodrigue and husband Bruce of Patterson; five grandchildren, Wesley Bergeron Jr., Bridget Bergeron, Matthew Bergeron all of Vidor, Tex., Chelsea Sizemore and Megan Sizemore of Middleburg, Fl.; one step-granddaughter, Dannette Lodrigue Giroir and husband Patrick of Patterson; eight great-grandchildren. Wayne is also survived by two sisters, Sybil Richardson and husband Joe Earl of Lecompte, Patsy Lasater of Homestead, Fl.; numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents William Burris and Edith Devore Sizemore; one son, Joey Sizemore; one brother, Cecil Sizemore; one niece; one nephew. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Blereau and staff , CIS, and the 6th Floor nurses at Teche Regional Medical Center for the loving care they provided to Mr. Wayne. The family would also like to thank The Medical Team that took great care of Mr. Wayne, especially his nurse Dannette. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Porter officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Wayne will be laid to rest in Ibert's Memorial Park Cemetery in Patterson following funeral services.
