Mary Margaret Ballinger Griffin

Mary Margaret Ballinger Griffin, 59, a resident of Berwick passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at her home. Mary was born on March 5, 1954 in Morgan City the daughter of William C. and Earline Lombas Ballinger. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being in the outdoor whether she was going fishing or hunting, or playing with her animals she loved so much. She loved to listen to her music and go dancing. Mary will be remembered as someone who always lived life to the fullest. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband George W. Griffin, Jr. of Berwick; four daughters, Gwen Brown Lewis, Shawnee Brown Gerrets, Charisa Duay LeBlanc, Shana Duay; nine grandchildren, Cheyenne Percle, Cassie Percle, Natasha Lewis, Michael Lewis, Jada Mitchelle, Blyke LeBlanc, Coby LeBlanc, Nicholas LeBlanc, Alex Harris; three great-grandchildren, Arianna Blanchard, Bryson LeBlanc, Lacy Gobert. Mary is also survived by four sisters, Diane Walker Crochet, Marlene Blanco, Dixie Ballinger, Deborah Wilson; one half brother, Jack Ballinger; one half sister; Lois Jean Stockwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. Ballinger and Earline Lombas Ballinger. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
