Harriett Folse

Gertrude Harriet Folse, 77, a resident of Morgan City passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Patterson Healthcare Center. Harriet was born on April 17, 1936 in Dayton, Texas the daughter of Benjamin Hardy Hines and Vieva Tucker Hines. She was a member of the Morgan City Garden Club as well as Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two children, Marcus H Folse and wife Denise, and Laurie F. Dalton both of Morgan City; four grandchildren, Manuel Fuentes IV, Jeffrey Barras, Katherine Dalton, Brittany Folse. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Hardy and Vieva Tucker Hines; husband Larry Folse; one brother, Pat Weaver. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 19 , 2013 at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church. Family will greet and receive friends after the services at church.
