Michael Lynn Champagne

Michael Lynn Champagne, 50, a lifelong resident of Franklin passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his wife, Joanna Champagne of Franklin; one son, Robert Champagne of Centerville; one daughter, Misty Tamayo and husband, Marquitos of Centerville; one grandson, Marquitos Tamayo of Centerville; four sisters: Deborah Bruce of Garrison, TX, Elizabeth Walker of Nacogdoches of TX, Sharon Champagne of Centerville and Virginia Hill of New Iberia; one brother, Elby Champagne Jr. of Centerville and one niece, Melissa Marlow of Mineral Bluff,GA along with many nieces and nephews of the Louisiana area. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Elby and Jeraldine Champagne; one sister, Teresa Boudreaux; two nephews: Brian Walker Jr. and David Champagne; one great nephew, Rye Hill and one brother-n-law, Garland Hill. There will be a Memorial Visitation held at Faith Baptist Church of Franklin, located on Faith Lane, on July 6, 2013 beginning at 9:30am until the time of the Memorial Service beginning at 10am. There will be a reception held after the service in the hall of the church.
